Position Summary
APPLICATION ENGINEER with B.S. Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerodynamics or closely related field. Knowledge of fluid dynamics/airflow and heat transfer principles with experience in engine/transmission cooling and HVAC systems. Position involves providing airflow solutions for automotive, truck and bus programs using SPAL products.

Essential Functions
• Review and understand customer requirements, specifications and manufacturing constraints to provide airflow solutions to customer’s heat transfer needs.

• Understand product design details, specifications, drawings and related engineering changes.

• Command the engineering aspect of product design projects.

• Interface engineering issues between customer and SPAL engineering/sales groups.

• Determine most appropriate solution based on the customer's requirements.

• Understand and evaluate customer specifications and validation requirements.

• Excellent technical and interpersonal communications skills· Excellent technical and interpersonal communications skills.

• Working knowledge of Pro-E a plus.

Qualifications
B.S. Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerodynamics or closely related field.
